The University library system

The University Library System (SBA) is an integrated, homogenous set of library bodies and structures that co-ordinate to work together using common means, tools and strategies, aimed at providing, developing and improving library services.

The SBA is one of the pivots of teaching and research activity: it aims at regulating, organising, co-ordinating and developing the activities of the library sector, guaranteeing the conservation, fruition and valorisation of the library heritage. Another one of the System's duties is to process and diffuse bibliographical data and to ensure access to scientific information.
